At the start of academic year 2018-2019, SPUP-KIRN conducts orientation to freshman and transferees to let them be aware of the library processes and procedures. It aimed to raise awareness of the library as a supportive learning space for educational and research endeavors.

The orientation focuses on how to effectively use, identify and locate library materials specifically in the online resources such as EBSCOHost Database and Follett Destiny (OPAC). Hands on demonstration are included at the end of every session. This is to let the users broaden their knowledge about the library’s electronic resources in support for their quest of growing demands of information.
