Information Literacy/Tours

The university library provides both resources and support that patrons need in order to locate, retrieve, select, appraise, organize, communicate, and evaluate information. Thus, librarians may be invited to offer presentations for classes on how to use the library for effective research in specific subject areas or on special topics. Faculty members and students are also encouraged to come to the library to become acquainted with the building, service areas, holdings and types of services offered. Advance notice is requested for scheduling of orientation/tour through the Head Librarian or the Director of Knowledge & Information Resource Network.
